Well, as el titelaro suggests, I GOT MY FIRST FRIKKIN REVIEW! And for some reason I've got the opening to the My Musical ep. of Scrubs going round in my head?...
Without missing the point of this post!... The review was written by the lovely Micah over at ATshirtBlog, turns out he's got a sick design company called Type: Micah running alongside ATshirtBlog - very cool :) Read it in full over at New York Battleships' very own TShirtBlog page but here's a little snippet if you haven't got time to read it all... "...I suggest you don’t mess with it unless you want to get blown out of the water. (Get it?)..." Anywho, I've just been listening to British Sea Power's Do You Like Rock Music? album all the way through (very rare) while I've been in shock and trying to find things to write for this post! Just about to listen to the late (band not person) Sam Isaac's album Bears with artwork so amazing that it just CAN'T be left out!
MOST IMPORTANTLY! I'm still so happy about getting my 1st review that I'm giving y'all 40% OFF just for today! Just go over to the Sanusi Apparel shop or click the link in the top right of this page, under Get In Touch, choose your size and enter: ATSHIRTSA and get YOUR 40% off noooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :) In other news, I'm off for a massive peanut butter and banana foldover, or maybe I'll go for a ham and cheese toastie?...OH EXCITEMENT!... And then it's off to the W for work again 4-8.30pm. Happy days! Out. - Ben

Morning all! Not a lot of news for you to catch up on this week - things have been quite quiet around SA HQ. That's not to say that there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEW NEWS!... When I shop online, the only thing that gets me (other than not being able to try the clothes on beforehand) is the frikkin delivery charges that hike your bill up by about 400,000%! Because it annoys me, I'm guessing that it annoys YOU too, so here's what I've decided to do: US delivery (Airmail est. 6-10 days) = £3/$5 UK delivery (1-2 days) = £1.50 Western Yurp = £2.50/€2.80/kr.20,- If you're reading this and thinking "SHIT! I don't live in these areas!" DON'T PANIC! Just drop me a line at frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com and I'll give you a more accurate delivery charge and shipping time. In other news, for those who've been following SA on Twitter there was a time, after finishing late at the W (AGAIN!) that alllllll takeaways were shut and there was no food anywhere in the house, and that all I could find were the 2 day old remains of a Chinese I'd had at the weekend. However enticing it looked on the day I had it, I didn't know whether to risk heating it up again so - I had it cold... if you haven't already realised, this was a FAIL of epic proportion. Anywho, my Ben & Jerry's supply has now completely run out, following yesterday's daily dose of Scrubs pt. 58 x3 so it looks like I'll have to stop ahead of this evening's plans! Stay up to date with any new news SA has to offer by being a friend/ fan / follower!
I'll leave you with this...
I don't know about you, but this really put my cold 2-day-old Chinese FAIL in perspective. Hah!
Out. -Ben
P.S. There's now just 240 tweets to go until something RUDDY WONDERFUL happens! (read this for more info!)
Good evening! I’m very shocked and appalled that this is the first post in what…16 DAYS?! I promise I’ll give at least a fortnightly update for all of you interested and committed followers/fans/friends, PROMISE! As you read in the posts below, the launch went well and I managed to sell 2 shirts which, as my cousin Grace of Demakes Apparel says, is a bloody good day! Over the next 2 weeks I managed to shift several more and I have sent out the first 2 gift orders to some very special people – something I might do with big tweet numbers as I mentioned yesterday here maybe EVEN a competition? I’ll DEFINITELY give away a pair of t-shirts with my 1,000th tweet... fo sho. I’ve been enjoying myself a lot in doing this, and I hope that this’ll continue now and into the future! It’s been so nice to have a sort of alter-ego when I get back home from work to just switch off from regular work and just crack down to SA work – not really work at all when you think about it! There is talk of a shop in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, being interested in selling my shirts but more on that when I know more. I’m amazed at how much support SA has been getting over the last few months, and I really appreciate everything that you’ve done for me – you guys and girls should know who you are. I had a typewriter and packing paper issue a few days, but thankfully these problems have now been solved and the typewriter is running sweetly and the packing paper is bountiful…oh she's so good to me!
Getting some of your pictures together for the 1st ed. Sanusi Apparel family has been fun, and it’s been really cool to see you all looking awesome in your tees; something that you’ll be able to see over at the SA MySpace page in a little while! Anyway, I’ve decided to extend the FREE DELIVERY offer for another WEEK, until the 5th of November, after that ordinary UK delivery (1st Class Royal Mail post) will be just £2. As promised, I’ll keep the TShuttle service running for anyone from the Beam/Colly schools to get their tee delivered to either common room for just 50p! Get yours NOW here ! To read more about it then please read this blog post. If you are interested in TShuttle and want to buy a tee, email me at frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com and I’ll set it all up for you. As a side note, the Sanusi Apparel Facebook page, voila, is now taking off and I’d love it if you could spend the 2 seconds it takes to click “Be a fan” – you have no idea how much support this brings to SA! I’m now taking suggestions on how to make SA EVEN better. Email me your thoughts and opinions at frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com With that, I’m going to sign off and go and get something to eat, I’ve got a serious hunger pang coming on…I can just feel it people! Maybe I’ll go for the peanut butter and banana fold over? Provided that the jar of PB isn’t EMPTY – seriously a crime in this household, and should be official law…Every house in the world should have some thick, crunchy peanut butter similar to that in the picture below! Maybe a ham and cheese foldover or should I go all out and make a toastie?! What I DEFINITELY won’t go for is a horrible “Apple Bear Claw” from the W, which for the Twitter followers amongst you, I deemed digusting and overly gooey last night see what I’m talking about? After finishing the claw, I did realise the name should be the first warning to potential buyers as I mean, what kind of sick pastry joke is it to have BEAR CLAW in the title of it?!! Anyway, daily dose of Scrubs pt. 44 went so well, I think I may have to indulge in another one, this time maybe with the “BETTER THAN HALF PRICE!” Ben&Jerry’s Phish Food AND Baked Alaska that is sitting, waiting to be feasted on in my freezer downstairs mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm SO! If you’re feeling in a giving/helping/friendly/followy mood then please be a fan, follower and keep helping to SPREAD THE WORD about Sanusi Apparel :D :D :D
No, maybe I’ll go for some cereal, or possibly brinner?
“Daaaaaym Turkledawg, you got brinner?!” but waaay better! :)
Well here it is - the new Click-Arrival feature of Sanusi Apparel. As you move down the page you'll be following exactly what happens here at SA HQ when your order comes in.
Your order details are then written down on the SA Order Sheet.
Your shirt size is then taken off the hanger to be folded, wrapped and packaged. Women's sizes are on black hangers, Men's on brown/beige hangers.
An individual letter addressed to you is then typed out.
And obviously folded!
Then your t-shirt will be folded, as shown in the gif below.
String is then wrapped around the brown paper package like this.
Then your address and a "Sender" tab are typed, cut and stuck onto the package.
The folded, wrapped and packed order, ready to go!
If you're an overseas customer, your packet will look slightly different, see below.
So that is basically what happens from you clicking "Purchase" to the arrival of your order at home! Out. - Ben
2 posts in 2 days I hear you say!?... that's just RUDDY WONDERFUL! Beam/Colly? This may interest you! Starting the day at 8ish, I had to do a few last minute things, like check that we hadn't run out of peanut butter again (more of that compelling story later), and by 8.50 I was clicking furiously away at the online shop before I "launched" it at 9. An hour went by without an order, and I successfully rearranged my typing/packing workstation and ate some cereal. THEN!... at 10.15 my first order came through, and I was in such a mad rush to get it sent out within the hour that I completely forgot to document the process (sorry, my bad, people!). After sitting and looking at the freshly-packed order on my desk, I made some pancakes to celebrate. This was them, and they were gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood :)
(Not quite as impressive as my childhood comic Rasmus Klump's pancake stacks (as seen here). Anyway, as the minutes ticked by, I found myself becoming bored again, so I decided that the best thing to do to calm my first-day-nerves was to beat the crazy ass gym boss of Pokémon Red's Cinnibar Island. It looked a little something like this...
Next came giving blood. I was thinking about taking a picture of me with a needle in my arm and a big bag of blood rocking on the floor (so it doesn't clot), but I thought that if I pulled out my phone and took a picture I'd get some very odd looks! Instead, I watched this little "Progress" bar thing that shows 10-100% and I had a very horrifying JD-type dream that the bar was 100% but the machine kept draining my blood until I was just a pile of skin on the floor...think Jabba the Hut but worse. When the bars reached 100%, Jenny the nurse came over and I found out that it took me 8 minutes to give 1 pint of blood and there's, what, 10 pints of blood in the average adults body... so in theory that machine could have changed me into Jabba in less time than a full football game! :S I know it's not a closeup of the needle in my vein, but here's the little plaster they put on my arm afterwards. Getting back, and after eating some pork chops, I checked the shop to find that I had gotten my SECOND ORDER OF THE DAY! What may be of great interest to you... This means that FREE DELIVERY will be added to the next 3 orders at http://bit.ly/fgiEK as 2+3=5 :) Just in case you were wondering, I had a big peanut butter and banana sandwich to celebrate this new order, and like the victory pancakes earlier, it was gooooooooooooooooooood too.
Out. - Ben
P.S. They were all out of ordinary "I donated blood today" stickers so I opted for the awesome Uncle one available - I just wish I could say that I drew it myself!
Well, as you probably know, today was the day that the courier was finally meant to deliver my tees from A. So, because I'm on my week off I slept in, and sure enough there was a knock on the door around 11am. Tim was the nice delivery driver who apologized about the delays, and as I signed for the box, he went back to his van to get it...
Two minutes later, after taking a pair of scissors to the box, I finally caught site of the NYB shirts...at this moment I was thinking "Sweet Jesus, these are beautiful!" - more a testament to A's maaaaad printing skillz than my designing skills!...
Anyway, after finding my own Men's Large, I finally calmed down from the excitement to have a peanut butter and banana sandwich but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!... the pot was empty. Anyway, without sounding too much like a kid's bedtime story, I'll cut to the chase. Sanusi Apparel will FINALLY open Wednesday (TOMORROW!!) morning at 9AM BST. And as promised, the first FIVE ORDERS (UK only) will receive FREE DELIVERY as a very special thank you to everyone who's been keeping up to date and following SA :) In the mean time, I'm doing some minor alterations to the SA site (www.sanusiapparel.com/sanusiapparel.bigcartel.com) and, obviously, getting my daily dose of Scrubs. So wherever you are in the world, why don't you be SA's new follower, fan, and friend to make sure that you're the first to hear any SA news as it happens! The Click-Arrival feature of the SA site won't be available to view until tomorrow afternoon as I (hopefully) get the first orders out :)
READ IF YOU'RE A BEAM/COLLY STUDENT!!...Announcing TShuttle, a service that will be a far cheaper way for you to get your hands on your SA shirt - even if you've missed the first 5 order FREE DELIVERY. Selecting TShuttle will get your SA tee delivered to either common room for only 50p! If you would like TShuttle delivery, then please email me at frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com - I'm thinking of delivering tomorrow but this all depends on how much interest there is! In case any of you were worrying, I managed to pick up a mega-big pot of PB and I'm about to eat my sandwich now. Anyways, I'm late for an appointment with my, sorry Beth's box set :D Aus. - Ben
Well, there was always something that was bound to go wrong...! SA will not be opening tomorrow morning at 9am BST, just to let everyone know. This minor setback was caused by the courier that A is using to deliver my parcel returning it to A's office for some unknown reason (surely you're meant to deliver the post to the addressee not the sender?!). ANYWAY! As A was out of office at the time, he has only just returned and managed to secure a Saturday morning delivery out of his own pocket, so kudos for him there. I'll be moving the launch back until early next week, and I'll actually hang fire in announcing the special day and date until I actually have the shirts with me here at SA HQ :) Work this weekend is going to be nuts, but I've got all of next week to do lots of lovely SA work (not really work, for me anyway!) and get all those lovely orders out to you. I hope that you've remembered that the first 5 orders from SA will receive FREE DELIVERY, just once more in bold to make that point... FREE DELIVERY ON THE FIRST 5 ORDERS! (UK ONLY) Anyway, I'm going to de-ache and go and get my daily dose of Scrubs now before 1/2 day off 1/1 starts tomorrow :) :) Keep tuned as I tweet and post over the next few days when I can. Head over to Twitter to get a sneak peek of the newly printed Continentals - A to thank for that gem :) I've been sweeping eBay for old 90's brick mobiles for a work phone but all I've found so far is an unforgettable Motorola ad from the...80's?... well worth a watch here if you've got a minute. In other news, I hope that everyone's livers are ok from all these Freshers Weeks and Fortnights going on everywhere! :) Aus. - Ben
I've now sent the second payment to A (El printaro), and from an email he sent earlier I can say that the shirts are being packed today, posted either tonight or tomorrow and with a 1-2 business day courier delivery I should be getting the package either Wednesday or Thursday! I'm so glad that printing has now finished, and now that A has given me an accurate shipping date (taking into account the most recent wave of Royal Mail distribution centre strikes), I can now announce the launch date and time of the main SA shop. Sanusi Apparel will open on Friday 2nd October at 9am BST. To everyone who has been following and keeping up with all the SA news, I will be giving the first 5 orders FREE DELIVERY (UK only) as a special thank you from me :) This means that, Royal Mail strike permitting, if you order before 12pm on Friday morning, you'll get your new SA shirt the following day! I will be announcing something similarly wonderful for any current students of Sir John Colfox/Beaminster at the weekend, that will come into effect for the whole of next week, so by all means, be SA's new follower, fan, and friend to make sure that you're the first to hear any SA news as it happens! Sorry about the over-use of bold and linking, but I think this is the biggest post I've written so far so I think it's deserved! In other news, I now have achieved a completely central COG (courtesy of Wii Fit) and I am obviously now in a very good mood with everyone, life and the world. I'd still love to hear anything that you've got to say, and don't forget to drop me a line at frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com if you've got a minute or a free period to burn :D I've asked A to email me as soon as the shirts are sent out and I'll be making regular tweets over the next few days, in an attempt to keep you as updated as possible in the build up to the launch. Have a great day and I'm really looking forward to seeing who'll get the FREE DELIVERY on Friday morning from 9am BST here. Ok, that's my bit over - I'm off to watch an episode of Beth's beloved Scrubs S7 boxset (I'll give them back next week I promise!!). Out. - Ben
Apologies for the time taken to write another entry! Just a quick update for y'all... Printers are behind with my predictions and have just created The Design's transparencies and the screens have been completed. According to A, the shirts should be finished by Friday, but will need a complete 24hr cycle to dry through, before being posted out to me. Having protested at this further set-back, he has agreed to do his very best to get the shirts to me by Monday. Hopefully looking at a day off work to deal with everything on that day and the launch looks set for Monday morning, with a specific time to follow via SA's Twitter page or as a smaller entry here. Over the week I've been test-posting packets from a few nearby locations (as I said I would here) to make sure everything arrives in a good condition - it's amazing how much a "Fragile" sticker will do! Working the rest of this week and I've been listening to a lot of Thom Yorke's The Eraser - focusing on And It Rained All Night and Black Swan on the wet and rainy drives to and from work. I'll be announcing some new items on the agenda in the next few days building up to the launch on Monday (all down to the printers to meet their deadline) so stay tuned and keep checking back here and on my Twitter page - go on...you know you want to follow me! Out. - Ben
Anthony has now confirmed that the design screens are ready to go and that printing will be done on Monday. Setting and finalizing will be done the following day, and he's sending the order out to me on Wednesday so I should be getting Thursday-Friday time! The main reason I'm staying up late is to watch bit.ly/uRNlX, and I think you should too - the Supermarket Psychology clip is genius! If you want to know more about screen-printing and how the design will be printed onto the shirts, I think Wikipedia do a good guide showing you what the printers will be doing on Monday, that can be found here. Anthony (el printaro) uses Union and Wilflex inks, high, high, high quality plastisol inks that are heat-treated towards the end of the screen-printing process to ensure that the design will have maximum resilience against most sorts of washing (hand or machine). The printing is done using steel screen frames covered with very high quality Scandinavian (only the best!) metal mesh. The U&W inks are then spread onto the screen surface using 65 shore squeegees with metal handles and guide bars to make sure that the print distribution across the screen is as even as possible. So that's just a basic summary of what will be happening to that lovely batch of Continental N11/N12 t-shirts on Monday morning... Anyway, I'm off to watch some more of Eddie Izzard - "Cake or Death?" Just about the simplest question ever asked! Out. - Ben
Finally finished my 12hr double shift but I thought I'd leave you a little update before I go to bed :) Anthony's starting on the shirts tomorrow, finishing on Saturday or Sunday (yes, he's agreed to work weekends for me!), meaning that they'll be with me by Wednesday next week. I'm doing 2 test posts tomorrow from Bridport and Yeovil just to make sure the packaging is up to scratch but, apart from that, there really isn't anything else to say! Working another 11am-6pm then 6.45pm-10.45pm double shift MADNESS tomorrow, but I'd actually weep with joy if somebody left me a little line to read when I got back tomorrow night! The address is frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com and I'd love to hear anything you've got to say :) I'll be announcing another feature in the next few days that will be of particular interest for any Beam/Colly readers, but keep checking back in the next few days to find out more... Hopping over to my Twitter page, I'm very excited to now be followed by the mighty Fur Face Boy from the Grand Prairies, Texaaaaas :) There's a special treat for anyone who heads over to SA's MySpace page but be quick, because it'll be gone in a few days time. In other news, I'm off to bed now and just thinking about work (starting again in less than 12hrs now) just puts me off writing any more! Out. - Ben
Announcing the super-awesome-cool feature that lets you see everything that happens behind the scenes here at SA HQ from the moment you click Purchase on the Sanusi Apparel online shop! Click-Arrival will show you a picture book summary of the steps that follow your Click, as your order is selected, prepared, packaged and sent off to you. This feature will be run entirely online, only accessible via the Sanusi Apparel shop - opening in the last week of September. The initial response to the design has been overwhelmingly positive, calming many of my nerves the more I read about what you think of it! Talking to Anthony (the printer) the design will be prepped over the weekend and printing will be starting around Wednesday and finishing on Saturday of next week, meaning that I will have them around the start of the last week of September! :) My inbox is looking very sorry at the moment, so if you've got any spare time at all, please send me a line at frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com! I'd LOVE to hear anything you've got to say about...anything! The design, how amazing the rocky road from Somerfields is (see twitters), which film I should watch tonight (seems to be Superman Returns vs Spiderman 3 at the moment), or even how good the weather's been lately! Anything will do - one line will be very well received! Anyway, I'll get back to playing Pong and listening to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new-ish album, It's Blitz! If you haven't heard it already, get the Spotify going and get it on - sheer brilliance! Missing the newly on-a-timeout A+P already. Aus. - Ben
This is the first design from Sanusi Apparel to be printed from Wednesday-Saturday next week. This represents; many sleepless nights, 2 hot chocolates, the crumbs of 1 brownie, 7 Appletisers, 162 toilet breaks, almost square eyes, a bag of Roasted 'N' Salted pistachio nuts, 5 re-designs, 3 bags of Jelly Snakes, 7 peanut butter and banana sandwiches, 9 Family packs of Cool Original Doritos (with assorted dips) and a tin of peaches in syrup. It's been really really fun from the beginning and I just hope that you like it as much as I do, otherwise all of the above will have been wasted for nothing! I've got the launch down for the last week of September now, but I'll confirm the specific date when the printers start their printing. In the meantime, keep checking my Twitter and MySpace for very regular updates on what is happening down here. And if anything interesting happens, drop me a line at frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com to liven things up a bit! Out. - Ben
After several hot drinks, various bits of brownie and a Blackberry and Raspberry Fruit Corner, I finally finished and sent off the design to the printers in Bristol at around 2.32am this morning (see Twitter post)! Thinking that they would be preparing the design to print over the next few days, I got an email from Anthony (Printer) around 11am saying that they were a week and a half behind schedule with printing, so the launch looks set to be put back even further, again. Sorry about this, but I will try to keep you as up-to-date as possible on any news over the next week. I can only confirm a launch date when I have a confirmed print slot date from the printers, which should be getting back to me around the end of this week (all fingers and toes are now crossed!). Over the next week I'll be getting all of the paperwork and packaging ready to go and I'm considering whether or not to open the www.sanusiapparel.com shop up a few days early, so that you can order the shirts a few days before they arrive to make the time speed up even more...thoughts? Printers just need to clarify that the .PSD design file I've sent is "print-worthy" and when they do I'll put the design up here so you can have a good look at it! :) That's all for the moment, if anything else pops up I'll let you know through Twitter! What's with this weather? Out. - Ben
Got the domain name and email sorted this morning! This means that the official site will now be www.sanusiapparel.com I'm not launching the site until the morning of the 16th (or around that date) but definitely bookmark it and keep checking back here for more updates on what's happening. If you feel the urge to get in touch then YOU CAN! frontdesk@sanusiapparel.com! It doesn't even have to be anything to do with S.A, just send something to make my inbox look more interesting :D Well, the design will be sent off this weekend, probably before my monster 10hr shift at work on Saturday. This means that the print slot is now confirmed as the 7th/8th September and I'll be getting the shirts delivered to my house a week later! Very very very very excited about all this now - hope you are too! More as and when I know :) Out. - Ben
With Radiohead's last song (Everything In Its Right Place) at Reading last night came the end of my summer festival circuit for this year! Glastonbury followed by The Glade followed by Beautiful Days followed by a 24hr stopover (see below) followed by Shambala, finally followed by Reading Sunday! :) Coming back home for more than 24hrs is definitely going to feel weird, since there are no more festivals to work until the middle of June next year. This means that I can devote the next few days to getting the design for the shirts (now on white instead of pastel blue) completely sorted, ahead of the print slot in SEVEN DAYS TIME! Buying the domain name today, maybe when the sun's gone in later on... Hoping that you're still as excited about this as I am! Really not long now! I'll let you know more when I know more :D Out. - Ben
Back in Dorset from Beautiful Days last night and driving up to Northamptonshire for Shambala this afternoon! Packaging has arrived, and I'm sending off the order for the t-shirt colour and sizes today - getting progressively more nervous now. Reading on Sunday and then straight back to work on Monday to send the finalised design on the 1st/2nd! Buying the domain name when I'm back from festivals for good :) Out. - Ben
Great news!Print slot has been confirmed as the 7th September, so + 5/7 working days and then I'll be ready to sell! Not-so-good-news is that I'm having a colour battle in my brain which I need your help to solve :( The debate is to decide whether these two colours will work together? Brotherin votes a yes but what do you think? Packaging is sorted and everything's nearly ready to go now! Coming back on Monday, arriving Tuesday then heading straight to Beautiful Days and THEN I'll be free of any plans from the 24th, but then again, it'll be Reading Sunday in no time at all! :)) Out. - Ben
Another sunny day started with me visiting the Idrætshøjskole i Sønderborg at 10.30. Awesome guide called Louise showed us around everywhere from the swimming pool to the climbing walls to the gym and sports hall to the dorms and dining halls - super fedt! Got a message from Anthony saying that printing would be around the 6th Sept, taking 7 days to get to me, so a preliminary new launch date is the 15th September (this may change with how fast the printers can get the shirts to me). Other than that, we didn't play Minigolf today - fail. Anyway, I'll keep you posted on anything else that comes up, but other than that, I've nothing else to report! READING SUNDAY/RADIOHEAD IN 18 DAYS! Out. - Ben
With rain dampening the most of my day, I thought it was going to be one of those sit-inside-all-day type days but, as if by magic, as soon as the thought had popped into my head we were bathed in the most GLORIOUS of sunlight! :) I've sorted out the packaging now, I hope you'll like it! Nice and simple but still awesome anyway! Well, for some reason or another, the print slot I hinted on having has now been taken so it looks like I'll have to push the launch back by a few days, possibly to around the end of the 1st week of September :S Well, I suppose that this gives me more time to get absolutely everything ready and sorted this way, but also means that you won't be able to get your hands on the lovely shirts for another little while :( Played minigolf with the brother today and was completely slaughtered 55-71! Back for take two with more people tomorrow, and I feel confident in saying that I will destroy him this time... Anyway, it's 10.30 and there's a French film about the Three Musketeers that I really shouldn't miss any more of! Take it easy - Ben
Quote is in from the printers and I've just got to finalise the colour scheme of the launch design before I send it off to them on Tuesday to get the print slot available in the last week of August! All I'm going to say is that its a 4-colour design on a coloured shirt :) Still hoping to meet the 1st September deadline and I'm still rushing around like mad putting the finishing touches on everything to make sure that it all runs like clockwork on the first day. Still deciding what to use for the packaging, found a site but I'm still deciding, but I'm not saying any more on the matter right now :) I've missed seeing one of my favourite local bands, Astronauts & Parachutes, to play at the Palace last night which is a shame, as I'm writing to you from sunny Denmark. Tomorrow we move from Ringkøbing down to Sonderjylland for 6 days before returning home once more. I'll be out of touch for the next few days. Have fun and keep checking back here, MySpace or my Twitter accounts for little news snippets as to what's going on at Sanusi Apparel HQ :)
With launch of Sanusi Apparel just around the corner, I'm rushing to get everything sorted and ready for the big day (1st September - write it down!), sorting out the design with the printers, putting the finishing touches on the website and also making sure that as soon as I open shop, I'll be ready to go.
It's been a hectic few months, researching, designing, hoping, some more researching and I just hope it pays off in the end!
As you will find out when Sanusi Apparel is open online, I'm a teenager who's tired of corporate bosses such as Philip Green and Arcadia running the high street and I decided I wanted to build a clothing company that had not only fashion but also high quality wear in mind, not any of this mass-produced, cheap-feeling TopMan shirts that are ubiquitous to us and available at every street corner.
I hope that Sanusi Apparel becomes something different in leading the way to affordable but also high quality tees that you'll grow to love :)
I'll keep updating when I find something more to report, but at the moment I've got to get hold of my printers as the launch design has changed a little since our last discussion.
